Product warranty

In compliance with the terms of Article 42 of Law 45 of 2007 and Article 21 of Executive Decree 46 of 2009, MIC TRADING PANAMA S.A. will grant a warranty on its products under the following terms for those products eligible for it, solely and exclusively for defects in their quality, suitability, or safety, proceeding, if accepted for compliance with current regulations, as follows:

1. Completely free replacement of the good, as well as its transportation, if necessary. If the new product again presents defects, the User may choose a new replacement, a total or partial refund of the price paid, or a partial or total exchange of the good for another of the same type, similar characteristics or technical specifications, which in no case may be inferior to those of the product that gave rise to the warranty claim.

2. The warranty period will be suspended while the consumer is deprived of the use of the product due to the enforcement of the warranty.

3. If the product is completely replaced by another, the warranty period for the new product will start again from the moment the product is replaced.

4. Once the product is received for warranty enforcement, a proof of receipt must be issued.

5. In any case, the legal warranty period is sixty (60) calendar days from the delivery of the product and, in any case, for its validity, the User must have complied with all care and use standards for the products. To determine the foregoing, the product, once delivered, will be subjected to internal studies and the consumer will be notified in writing whether the warranty is recognized or not, explaining the respective reasons and attaching the evidence that justifies the decision.

6. Once the consumer is notified of the decision to enforce the warranty, they will have a period of fifteen (15) business days to make the good subject to the warranty claim available to MIC TRADING PANAMA S.A.

7. When the consumer chooses product replacement, MIC TRADING PANAMA S.A. will have a period of ten (10) business days, following the moment the consumer makes the product subject to the warranty available, to deliver the product.

8. The consumer may choose to request a product of the same type as long as it is in inventory. Otherwise, they may opt for a product with similar characteristics or a refund of the money.

9. When the consumer has opted for a money refund for warranty enforcement, MIC TRADING PANAMA S.A. will have a period of thirty (30) calendar days to make said refund, counted from the date on which the consumer makes the product subject to the warranty claim available.

10. Warranty claims can be made through the customer service channels provided by MOVIES, i.e., [*] to the MOVIES email address: micservicioalcliente@mic.com.pa. In any case, MIC TRADING PANAMA S.A. will review each request and resolve it according to applicable law.
